Welcome to my website! At the end of June, beginning of July, I had a very enjoyable little holiday in my home town of Derry, capped with a couple of days at the Willie Clancy Week — a great opportunity for some chat and tunes with old friends. I just recently did a couple of U.S. gigs with Altan — Portland, Oregon, and a nice Irish festival in Butte, Montana — a lovely, characterful town. My next Altan event will be in November — a concert at the Irish American Heritage Center in Chicago. The documentary I was working on for a while about Woods Music in North America is available for streaming now in Canada and the Irish-language version of it will be shown on tg4 in September. As always, I thoroughly enjoy my teaching at the Center for Irish Music in St. Paul — check out their website too!
