Welcome to my website! It’s December now as I write this, and there is a disappointing lack of snow on the ground here in Minnesota, though we have had a bit of cold weather. As usual, I have a busy schedule of teaching at the Center for Irish Music here in Saint Paul — always enjoyable! Between now and Christmas I have one gig — playing at my friend Hannah Flowers’s Christmas concert at the Celtic Junction. It should be fun — Smack Young Walser and Stephanie Claussen are also performing. And there are some nice gigs in for next year, including concerts with Laura MacKenzie and Ross Sutter in March, the Baltimore Tradfest with Trian — Liz Carroll and Billy McComiskey — in April, concerts with my old pal, the great James Kelly, also in April in Seattle and Olympia, and in October a return to teach at the O’Flaherty Irish Music Retreat in Texas. Maybe I’ll meet you along the way!
