Welcome to my website! The long hot summer in Minnesota has finally given way to cooler autumnal weather — always something of a relief for me. And teaching at the Center for Irish Music, which is a bit quieter in the summer, is busier again. The school is thriving, with more students — and instructors — than ever. The session scene too in the Twin Cities is going strong and I always enjoy my visits to the Dubliner on University Avenue.
We have gotten some nice responses to the new album with Victoria Adiiye, “There but for Fortune” — it’s fun keeping track of radio plays on many U.S. stations as well as in Ireland, something I’ve never done before. The CD is available on Bandcamp and you can also check it out on Spotify (info below).
